View My Work Hire MeAs a Theatre-Maker Nicole's practice is based in a holistic and spiritual human-centred community care focused way. She has extensive experience in directing/dramaturgy, facilitation and producing, working with professionals and communities. Nicole directed several short plays for Graeae Theatre’s Crips With Chips new writing showcase presented with Theatre by The Lake and Liverpool Everyman Theatre on their mainstages (2023-24). She is currently a Dramaturg Mentor on Paines Plough's Tour The Writer programme in partnership with Bradford Producing Hub and Bradford 2025. She was a Creative Associate on the Royal Shakespeare Company’s First Encounters production of Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night, where she assisted rehearsals in Stratford-Upon-Avon and directed the young ensembles in schools and associate theatres in the northern region of the tour (2024). Nicole has been trained by the Almeida Theatre, as a JMK Trust Mentored Director, through the Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme (2021) and worked as a script-reader for Sheffield Theatres (2022).

Nicole is a Writer Mentor and Dramaturg on Paines Plough's Tour the Writer programme in Bradford in partnership with Bradford 2025 and Bradford Producing Hub. She is mentoring the writers group and providing support in addition to dramaturgy to 5 writers from the group.

Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth by Bobby Brill, performed by Nadia Nadarajah, Faye Donnelan and interpreted by Chandu Gopalakrishnan. The play explored long-distance friendships in the gaming world and insecure housing and disabled experience.
JANUS by Madeleine Farnhill, performed by Nadia Nadarajah, Mark Lockyer and Chandu Gopalakrishnan. A folk-horror exploring rural isolation, brutality and abuse through the appearance of a two-headed lamb.

Let Me Fat in Peace by Caitlin Magnall-Kearns, performed by Beca Barton and Siobhan Athwal. This comedy explored fat-phobia and perceived desirability in mixed-weight relationships.
Ajar by Nell Hardy, performed by Beca Barton, Mariah Loca, Kellan Frankland and Charlie Folorunsho. The drama explored transphobia in women's refuges and unsafety in police handling.
Nicole worked as part of a team of Creative Associates employed by the RSC. She supported the large-scale tour of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night for young audiences to Associate School groups and Theatre Partners across Yorkshire: Bradford Alhambra, York Theatre Royal and Hull Truck Theatre
Nicole assisted the director on Emma Rice’s adaptation of the classic film, Brief Encounter in the round at the Stephen Joseph Theatre working with their Artistic Director. She provided contextual research, ideas and supported and observed the production across movement direction, musical direction and overall directorial vision.
